SBI SimplyClick Credit Card

Pros:

  • Welcome, Amazon voucher & milestone rewards boost value.

  • Fee waiver if you meet the spend target.

Cons:

5. Ideal User Profile

Select Simply SBI Card if you:

  • Spend more on groceries, dining, and department stores, and less online.

  • Want straightforward cash rewards on every purchase, and rewards don't need to be earned luxuriously.

Select SBI SimplyClick Credit Card if you:

  • Shop online for most of your items, including travel and bill payments.

  • Want to maximise points earned and redeemed on your online purchases.

  • Can achieve the targets that allow you to gain the most points.

Balanced approach:

If you frequently shop offline and online, you might have both, combining the two to benefit you more.

Tips to Maximise Value

1. For an annual fee waiver, spend Rs. 1 lakh online (Simply Click) or on total spends (Simply Save).

2. For groceries, dining out, etc. Simply Save is used. Simply Click is for online shopping and bill payments for utilities.

3. Always check if a merchant is a “partner” to get 10x the rate.

4. Convert and use your points for rewards before they expire.

5. Credit card issuer policies change. (As an example, starting September 2025, SBI will remove reward points on some cards for digital gaming spends.)

Conclusion:

SBI Simply Save and Simply Click credit cards serve different but overlapping purposes. If your spending pattern is more offline and routine, Simply Save gives consistent rewards. Simply Click offers larger multipliers on utility and e-commerce expenditures if you lead a largely online lifestyle.

Pick whichever aligns more with your spending habits. Otherwise, if you have the flexibility, use both in a more planned way - Simply Save for offline rewards and Simply Click for your online spending.
